Directions: Pretend that you are journalist in 1700s, and you have been tasked with covering the American Revolution. You are to write two newspaper articles that retells the stories of two battles that you chose. Remember that you must only use facts in your newspaper, no opinions on the battles.
Newspaper Requirements (remember that you are writing 2 articles):
Use clear and simple language. Keep the article short and to the point. Use active verbs (for example: Man bites dog) and not passive verbs (for example: Dog bitten by man).

- First paragraph is a summary of the event and must contain:
- A hook to grab the reader (the first sentence) and answer the following Who, What, Where, When, Why and How
- Second Paragraph: this paragraph contains the core information of the article and tells the reader why it is important
- The Third Paragraph: A summary of everything you wrote in the article
- Must contain a picture: Needs to have a caption describing or explaining it.
